Fairview Estates, BallitoFarm Lewis 02 is the secondary dwelling on this 6Ha multi-generational farm. The home is designed to be completely off-grid, and is made of natural stone, brick and timber materials. There are views across the farm, and all rooms have a direct connection to the landscape.
Regenerative Farm Design
A full regenerative farm design was part of the Farm Lewis project. This included strategies to regenerate the degraded sugar cane farmland to be a thriving ecosystem.
A series of ponds bring water and life back to the farm, and are surrounded by a variety of indigenous forests, productive food forests, ornamental gardens and vegetable growing areas.
The two houses sit within the farm landscape, deeply connected to nature.
